Come to Dead Mans Island to play a classic game of Liars Dice. Traditionally known as a pirates game, it is fitting that you are trapped on this island with your wits alone...

Liars dice is a game of bidding and bluffing. Each player has a set of dice hidden under a cup. On your turn you must bid a number and a face, guessing the total number of dice on the table showing that face. The next player must make a stronger bid, increasing either the number of dice or the number of pips. Play continues until someone calls LIAR, at which point all dice are revealed. If the last bid was correct (there were at least said number of dice with the chosen face), then the person calling LIAR loses a die. Otherwise, the last bidder loses a die.

You can play with or without wilds. With wilds on, ones (dice with one pip) count for any face when counting the total number on the table. They also count for double when bidding (3 ones is stronger than 5 sixes).

Liars Dice 3D supports 2 to 8 players, each with 1 to 5 dice. Mix and match human players and AI. For now only pass-around multiplayer is supported, but is great fun with a group of friends!

Interface tips:
1) tap on your cup to zoom in (smooth camera movements!)
2) swipe up on your cup to peek underneath (natural touch interactions!)
3) tap on the banner to see bid history
4) sound settings can be changed in the Pause menu

Enjoy!

Pros and cons of Liar's Dice 3D app for iPhone and iPad

Liar's Dice 3D app good for

Been using this app for years, best liars dice game available!
Ive been waiting for a good liars dice app, and everything so far has been worthless. But this one didnt let me down! You can lose dice, the AI is actually intelligent, and the entire experience is very well done! Only things that would make it totally perfect? Add "Shake to roll" animated dice, make bidding numbers more fluid to move and larger on the screen, and make it so you can see your dice whenever you want. But honestly this game is awesome! More than worth 99cents!
Very polished version of liars dice. The AI plays like a real person, which makes the game fun. Graphics are well done, the "feel" of lifting the cup to see your dice adds a nice touch. Kudos Estella.
Plays just like the real game. Worth the puchase if youve ever played the real life version!
Only a few things I would add... -Win-Loss record -Online Mode (if possible) -well Im sure you have other stuff in your plans its just I think that would be awesome to add that.
This is by far one of the most fun games you can buy for its price. Visuals are excellent, AI is intelligent, and gameplay is smooth. My only recommendations are to add online play, enlarge the "wilds" button because it is hard to press, and add a betting/reward system to help players gain a sense of accomplishment. Still an excellent game though.

Some bad moments

The game itself is fairly polished looking and the AI is advanced enough. My only complaint (and it is a big one) is that there is no option for calling spot on, making the game unfair in many cases. With this added feature I would honestly not be able to put the game down but until then I do not see myself playing it too often
Rip-off! Cant get it past the loading screen on the new iOS 4.0!
You cant look at your dice the whole time. Turns take forever and the whole thing just looks ugly. Not enough animations and bad 3d artwork. The AI is way too smart. It knows how to beat you as if it can see all the dice on the table at all times. This game is not worth it and Im upset I wasted a dollar on it. Its poorly put together. Using unity this game should have looked a whole lot better and should have been more interactive. Its hard to even place your bid. Fix this game and stop heckling people for their money. Do your jobs right. Come on people.
Could have made it alot better.. If it were free it still wouldnt be worth downloading
I was playing this game until one day my phone crashed! The game was fun until my screen had these weird vertical black & white lines. Im never downloading this game again!
The computer opponent obviously knows what dice you have. And when it gets down to 2 dice, you call spots (total no of pips) not two sixes or such BS. Are aces "dead" when you open with aces? Maybe rules hod be explained better too.
